| Abstract: | A review of the analysis of diversification trends and models involving a survey of 300 top companies in the USA and Europe carried out for Future Organisation Resources, outlining how 43% were diversified into correlated activities, 27% into non-related activities in 1983, with more highly diversified European companies than US ones, the diversification and penetration from 1979-1983 are examined, together with the role of technology and the identification of focused diversification among more profit conscious managers. |
