| Abstract: | The study examines the character of economic growth in industrialized countries in the 1960s and 1970s. Its conclusion is that economies which are competitively organized have done as well as the corporist economies. The true losers are those countries which are neither characterized by a high degree of national consensus nor by a highly competitive structure. |
