Abstract: | An empirically based measure of job characteristics, and assessment of job satisfaction and relationship with intent to leave, based on surveys of 742 male and female employees of a chemical manufacturing company. Results of multivariate analyses: satisfaction with the work, other job facets and general job satisfaction. Motivating potential, danger, intellectual demands and manufacturing orientation. The empirical findings and their implications. Three Tables and a Figure illustrate the study. |
