| Abstract: | Static game models and their application in management are reviewed in order to provide an overview of game theory and its applications and to explore the mathematical tractability of management science problems when formulating them as game theory models. Attention is restricted to static game theory models and five management science related areas. A general description on static game theory models, then their solution schemes and an investigation of game theory applications are presented. Some other approaches of game theory are also described. Though applications are very restricted, these approaches improve the regular game theory in some aspects. |
