Abstract: | The study described in this article dealt with redundancy among three task rating scales: a relative-time-spent scale, an importance scale, and a frequency scale. 117 research and development managers from nine organisations in the US and Canada completed a task inventory on all three scales. Absolute-value difference scores and scale intercorrelations were calculated at both the individual and job levels. |
