| Abstract: | This article examines what kind of role negative affectivity (NA) has to the relationship between job stressors and resultant strains using a contingency approach. In the study five models are proposed: regression-, common cause-, full mediation-, partial mediation, and exacerbation model. The models are tested using data from samples of sales representatives and managers. |
