Abstract: | The present competitive situation in China can be described as excessive competition, the multiplicity of competitive subjects, gravity of illegal competition, the dominant position held by price competition, and the coexistence of monopolistic competition and perfect free competition. To maintain the environment of fair competition, government should adopt measures in following aspects: struggling against illegal competition and breaking local protectionism formulating the strategy of national competition, defending our country's interests, improving the competitive power of state-owned enterprises, accelerating the pace of asset reshuffling, giving equal treatment to all enterprises, and creating conditions for enterprises to compete. |
