| Abstract: | This paper deals with the causes and consequences of corporate governance reform referencing to the French case. It analyzes the path of institutional change compelled by financial efficiency and cooperative innovation. It is shown among others that both converging and diverging forces of institutional change co-exist, shaping selective responses to globalization. |
