Abstract: | In the United States (U.S.), there are relatively few Federal environmental (here as: env-al.) regulations influencing agricultural production. However, many local and state env-al. rules may influence the management practices on U.S. farms, as might interactions btw. urban population centers and agricultural producers. A detailed analysis of corn farms provides insight into these relationships, suggesting that stringent env-al. regulations could increase the likelihood of adoption of certain conservation practices. |
