| Abstract: | This article considers the relationship between translation studies (hereafter as TS) and Middle Eastern studies. The article reviews a number of translation histories and practices from different time periods' perspectives. The aim of this article is to discuss the role of difference and fidelity as well as to highlight new models of thinking in TS. |
