Abstract:Starting from the illogicality and irrationality of the credit system, which is all based on the previously published contributions under the title "Money supply ex nihilo", the writer demonstrably and analytically examines the problem of credit system reforms. His proposals are aimed al dividing the operations of banks into deposit and credit, with the necessity of 100% coverage of bank deposits, at the legally stipulated and permanent annual growth in the creation of bank basic money supply by "a" % above the growth in GDP, and at the rights of a country to receive the profits from banks' money supply creation. He substantiates the rationality, fairness and general advantages of the proposed system, and its favourable influence on inflation, GDP movements, employment and overall balance. In interpreting and substantiating the reform proposals, generally of a longterm nature, he relies essentially on the positions, ideas and proposals developed by numerous economists and monetarists, particularly Nobel prize-winers Milton Friedman and Maurice Allais.
