| Abstract: | English Nature, the government's adviser on nature and conservation, is currently in the process of transforming itself into a learning organisation. Although its staff training courses were respected and well managed, the organisation was becoming aware of problems to do with high costs, slow speed of deliver, relevance of the training, applying learning, and exchanging skills with colleagues. English Nature benchmarked approaches to training with a wide range of companies in order to transform itself into a learning organisation. The author of this article reports on the progress it has made so far. |
