| Abstract: | The spring 1994 issue of this magazine contained an article which described an amazing turnaround at Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester New York. It showed how a change in mindset in the employees was achieved, resulting in soaring performance levels. Much of the credit, the authors say, goes to employee empowerment that created an environment that motivates people to creatively solve problems and take an active part in their work. Several prominent executives were invited to comment on this article, with particular attention to employee empowerment. |
