| Abstract: | When integrated accounting packages were the only game in town, the finance department held strategic data hostage. This is no longer the case and this had to change. Operating with the simple belief that none of us is as smart as all of us, computer programmers, business entrepreneurs and organizational managers collectively went to work on the problem. In just two short decades, businesses have successfully mounted a full court press on fast, easy, and convenient ways to disseminate useful information, financial and otherwise, across the organization. |
