Abstract:The authors interviewed 40 senior executives of local and international companies in Brazil to find out how they learned to survive and thrive in the face of high inflation. This has led to the creation of a framework that helps managers to successfully deal with the impact of inflation. These lessons might prove useful in areas currently confronted with high inflation rates, such as Eastern Europe, and future highly inflationary countries.
