| Abstract: | The gap between the rich and the poor has the following three forms: 1)Gap between individuals--the per capita income of those who get the highest income was in 1992 4.8 times more than that of people who get the lowest. 2)Gap between city and village--The living costs of residents in cities and towns were 1826 yuan per person in 1992, while in villages 784 yuan per person. 3)Gap between regions--In 1992, twelve coastal provinces and cities had their rising extend of income 5.6 percent points over the rest of 18 areas. |
