| Abstract: | The purpose of this study is to examine the perceptions of the tourism industry among North Carolina, USA, legislators in 1990 and 2003. Findings show that legislators have a more positive attitude regarding the economic importance of tourism in 2003, but their knowledge still need improvement. |
