Abstract: | This article focuses on the cognition of small-business owner-managers (herein as: s-b-o-mgr/s). Corporate responsibility and ethical issues can have a different path in SMEs. The s-b-o-mgr/s. can shape the corporate culture, enacting values other than profit. It is herein identified how the s-b-o-mgr/s. make sense of notions linked to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and business ethics. Using the Repertory Grid Technique (RGT), s-b-o-mgr/s. pragmatically and rather clearly differentiate among the various concepts related to CSR and business ethics but, at the same time, recognize the interrelationships and interdependencies of these concepts. |
