Abstract:This study examines cases in which employee has right to refuse a particular job duty that is part of his or her job description. According to the study, the employee does not have a general right to refuse to fulfill a specific job task because of his or her conscience. The refusal is acceptable only when it does not violate customer's rights. For example, pharmacists should fill all prescriptions.
