Abstract:The user work station has rapidly become an intricate part of the corporate work environment. Identified are many of the hardware and software components of traditional and computer hosted user work stations. Provided is a catalogue of these tools from which an appropriate configuration may be selected for individual users. A repertoire of special purpose software is registered. The traditional user work station is a work station grounded in manual and mechanical accoutrements. The computer hosted user work station includes many of the components of the traditional work station as well as components associated with configurations of electronic devices.
