| Abstract: | In the paper the transition model based on the theory of Markov chains is described.After a short theoretical presentation of the model the way of validating a model is also shown.In the second part a simple example of forecasting human resources in the company with three hierarhical groups is presented.The forecast is made by the use of software package EXCEL. |
