| Abstract: | By analyzing and processing a large amount of data, this paper makes a clear and definite estimation of the total of towns and towns with a population of over 2000 in China in the 1930s respectively. It considers that to realize modernization in China, one of the most important things is to change agricultural nation into industrial one, agricultural one, agricultural civilization into industrial one. To this end, it seems that to develop township economy with great efforts is the only way. |
