Abstract: | Planning departments have been set up in all large corporations. The question is what their staffs have to concentrate on, in order to be successful. Data analysis based on canonical correlations provided following information: The staff's independent functions are in corporate planning, in divisional planning and in administration of planning process. All these functions are of utmost importance to the effectiveness. The analysis shows strong correlation between the extent to which staffs perform these functions and the extent to which they are perceived to be effective. |
