Abstract:The media have changed considerably in the past two years. The majority of TV researchers think that the old tools used to measure the TV environment from 1950 on are no longer adequate to measure the environment. AGB and Nielsen are using the people meter.Both of them have reported test experience with their people meter which indicated it was a viable measure of people's viewing.
