Abstract:In mid-1990s Swiss Post was undergoing a period of intense organizational change to achieve more process oriented working practices. This involved the financial operations and related information systems. Swiss Post's relationship with a product, Trema, began in 1996 when Postfinance, the financial services division of Swiss Post and one of the group's main business units, selected the product to support its treasury. Six years on and Postfinance continues to work closely to ensure its activities are supported with the technology. The authors of the article try to find out more about its business operations, its relationship with the product and the recent move to act as a pilot customer for product's interface to Bloomberg.
