| Abstract: | The large-sized department stores are developing too rapidly in quantity and have gone beyond the limit. So the temperature needs to be lowered. Facing the intense competition between many traders and severe challenges from the international general merchandise trade, China's large-sized stores should develop towards grouping and comprehensive development. It is especially important for the general merchandise trade to make rationally market positioning at present. Strengthening the management of enterprises, providing service satisfying customers and enhancing competitiveness are the key to success in the 21st century. |
