| Abstract: | Elaboration of the company's global strategy needs a better information management because of the increasing uncertainty characterizing the previous years. The information needs of company managers are not only related to the usual transactions anymore : one has to fix and follow monthly and annual objectives, evaluate, choose and follow the middle term decisions. Technological evolution gives the opportunity to the companies to acquired Decision Support System. The different stages of every decision - gaining information, knowledge, intelligence, conviction, and decision - are described. |
