Abstract: | Although the use of micro-computer is spreading more and more, its use is quite unusual in the world of business and it arouses quite different reactions. It is argued that no accurate survey can truly evaluate the balance between the several categories of reactions, but one can observe that most of the surveys reveal a negative attitude. The role that information plays in corporate strategy and decision-making is analyzed and it is concluded that as micro-computer seem to be useful tools for the executives, the feeling of rejection should decrease and even vanish little by little. Suggestions are given to spread micro- computer's usage among executives. The idea of information centre is analyzed and conclusions are given. |
