| Abstract: | This article presents an ecological-economic model combining life cycle assesment (LCA) model with input-output analysis and thereby connecting the functional flow-based micro-level system to the commodity-based meso- or macro-level economic system. The article argues that the new model makes it possible to develope various new analytical tools for LCA or input-output analysis. |
