| Abstract: | Sustainable consumption cannot be achieved if the life span of household goods is very short. This article examines empirically the consumer attitudes and behaviour in United Kingdom and proposes a theoretical model to examine how longer product life spans can contribute to the achievement of sustainable consumption. |
