| Abstract: | The focus of Australia's economy is now Asia, and its domestic and foreign banks are exploring the strategies that will best exploit this unavoidable reality. Increased trade and investment flows between Australia and its Asian neighbours are opening up new opportunities for Australian companies and banks. As more companies export to Asia and set up operations there the demand for financial institutions which can serve them in these new markets increases. |
