| Abstract: | This article examines on attempt to create an entrepreneurial culture. The unversity concerned is threatened by new market pressures, further deterioration of the public sector resource base, and more vigorous competition, following the end of publicly funded growth in the Australian higher education sector in 1996. University activities are examined to consider how obstacles might be overcome. |
