Abstract:Peter Lorange is President of IMD (International Institute for Management Development) in Switzerland. He is professor of strategy and holds the Nestle Chair. Prior to joining IMD, Peter was president of the Norwegian School of Management in Oslo. He has conducted extensive research on multinational management, strategic planning processes, strategic control and strategic alliances. Peter Lorange, as challenger during the Renaissance conference, raises questions to Anthony Giddens with particular reference to future management education and development. The questions and answers are presented in the present article.
