Abstract: | The study explores how groups with many internal friendships and groups with weaker connections achieve high performance by taking advantage of the strengths and minimizing the weaknesses among their internal social structure. Internal friendship structures, external networks and intragroup conflict are examined. The results indicate that internal friendships interacted with constructive conflict and external networks to determine when groups would achieve excellent performance. |
