| Abstract: | This paper provides Paolo Quattrone's view on the article by T. Malmi and M. Granlund (2009) that is a topical addition to the debate of what makes management accounting theories valid and relevant. Malmi and Granlund note that many will agree that an important part of what is published in management accounting uses theories created in other fields. Quattrone also mentions the issues related to the article that could enhance debate including the definitions provided and the potential paradoxes in relation to arguments. |
