| Abstract: | Viewed from the current situation, there is a large room for development of "intermediate technology" in China's vast area, especially in township enterprises. As far as the areas backward both in economy and in culture are concerned, it is suitable to popularize with great efforts " intermediate technology" and doing so can produce remarkable economic returns. After investigation into the state of Pingtain and Yongtai counties, the author thinks that we should do our utmost to increase investment in education in these areas for the underdeveloped areas should attach great importance to and apply "intermediate technology". Besides, attention should be paid to taking simpler production mode, obtaining materials from local sources in production and producing product mainly to satisfy the local needs. |
