| Abstract: | The status quo of investment by Taiwan's business people in Fuqing city is as follows: 1. large scale of investment, high starting points of projects and strong delayed effect; 2. widening fields for investment; 3. better economic returns and a vast range of prospects; 4. increased proportion of solely-owned enterprises with most of products for export. The measures to attract Taiwanese investment in the future are 1. to make publicity on inviting investment from Taiwan with an eye to the future, 2.to widen commercial and trade channels and develop nongovernmental and transit trade; 3. to expand the fields for economic and trade cooperation in agriculture and the scale of cooperation, 4. to run well the existing development and investment zones, 5. to better financial service for enterprises, 6. to improve "soft" and "hard" environment |
