| Abstract: | To return to GATT will benefit China in many aspects such as expanding export of commodities, technical transformation of enterprise, adjustment of industry and product structure, technical improvement , possibility for people to buy low price and high-quality commodities and establishment and perfection of socialist market economic system. But there will be some unfavorable effects. It is necessary for China to reform the tariff system and the management system of import and export, to free domestic market gradually, to establish export business conglomerate steadily and to develop transnational operation. |
