| Abstract: | China's restoration to GATT signatory position is not only an opportunity, but also a challenge to Sichuan's economic development and reform. So some relevant plan must be made. This plan includes as following: readjusting the economic development strategy and structures of industries and products, strengthening the economic competitive power, speeding the marketization, simplifying the government functions and placing some of them to the lower levels, transforming the government functions, accelerating the path of opening to the outside and economic development, renewing the thoughts and opinions, etc. |
