Abstract:In many areas the evidence shows that women are indeed beginning to break through the glass ceiling. Much has said about the "glass ceiling", which, deliberately constructed or otherwise, serves as an effective barrier to the progress of women in the workplace. This ceiling, which is largely impenetrable, frustrates the efforts of many women who would otherwise be prompted to higher managerial positions in various organizations.
