| Abstract: | As of the late 1980s many thousands of Russian managers have been exposed to western management knowledge and teaching methods, involving lectures by foreign professors and specialists in the ex-USSR or study abroad by Russian managers. All this has been described as "an unpredictable task ... a potential cross-cultural minefield". There is no shortage of topical treatment of these training initiatives covering general management, finance, small firm creation , food distribution and so forth. |
