Abstract:Semiotics have been used to varying degrees in management studies to analyse certain management situations of goods and what they communicate. But while there is new interest in semiotics, worldwide, few theoretical publications have drawn from the tradition of semiotics in France. The purpose of this paper is to introduce French applied semiotics to researchers and marketers and thereby enrich the use of semiotics in theoretical and applied research.
