| Abstract: | This article offers the results of a major research project that focused on the implementation of bar code technology in a purchasing environment. It presents a framework, based on empirical research findings, that can assist managers find patterns in the bar code system's design and implementation process to develop a model for supplier bar code implementation within their own firms. |
