Abstract:While there has been significant research on various aspects of entrepreneurship during the past decade, only a limited number of research studies have focused on the performance and results of entrepreneurship education. The need for research into this area is well documented. Questions which currently surface are: Can entrepreneurship be taught? How can potential entrepreneurs be identified? Why should anyone choose to undertake the risks, financial burden and general disruption to social life which setting up and running one's own business entail? These are some of the questions addressed in this paper.
