Abstract: | When it comes to acquisitions, good things do not always come in small packages. Larger acquisitions enjoy a dramatically higher success rate, no matter what the business or industry sector. Yet there are many sound reasons a larger firm may wish to acquire a small one, such as gaining a window on a new business, entering a new market or acquiring a new technology. More importantly, the small acquisition can work and work well. |
