Abstract:Slovenia is no doubt one of the most progressive European countries in transition. It's good starting position is, however, nourishing the expectations that less transition policy coordination is required in Slovenia's case. The article discusses the common problems of economic policy in Slovenia from the principles of constitutional economics through the perspective of transition policy coordination. It also develops the hypothesis that proper coordination will bring Slovenia towards liberal economy rather than spontaneous reform development.
