| Abstract: | Under the concept of delivery windows, when an order is placed, the customer is asked to specify an earliest and a latest delivery date. The difference between these dates creates the delivery window. This tells purchasing when or over what period raw materials and components must arrive. It also tells production over what period manufacturing must take place. |
