| Abstract: | In 1996, the iron and steel industry will stop sliding downward and begin to rise. The steel product market will rise steadily and moderately, but the demands for steel products will not increase greatly. The shortage of funds will be the main problem the iron and steel enterprises are confronted with in 1996. Furthermore, we should maintain vigilance to the shocks of too rapid increase of demand resulting from the market constraint due to the shortage of funds in the past several years, to the domestic steel product market. Besides, we should continue to control the import of steel products in order to protect the domestic market. |
