| Abstract: | The concept of shifting paradigms can help us come to grips with the true nature of Total Quality Management (TQM). TQM continues to be a much-debated approach to managing organizations. At the core of this debate lies a serious failure on the part of many to recognize that TQM is different is essence from classical and conventional management in both theory and practice. Unfortunately, many business people and academicians regard the development and practice of TQM as an evolutionary process rather than a revolutionary one. |
