| Abstract: | This paper is a condensation of a highly acclaimed workshop presentation at the September 1997 conference in Prague of EBEN, the European Business Ethics Network. Academic literature in the field of business ethics has four dominant streams. Normative/Philosophical literature is largely the domain of philosophers, Meta-Ethical/ Analytical literature is the most recent and as yet undeveloped area of ethical research, investigating questions of meaning and justification relating to the corporate and individual decision-making process. |
